Billing Currencies
Upclick currently supports billing in the following currencies:
USD, CAD, GBP, EUR, AUD, JPY, BRL, MXN, ARS.
As part of the product definition process, Upclick requires a default price to be specified in USD.
Customers will be charged based on this reference price, depending on the local currency used in their country.
For countries for which Upclick doesn't support billing in their local currency, the checkout page will display the amounts in the local currency, but charge the customer in the equivalent amount converted to USD, based on a daily exchange rate.
When you define a product, you set the product price in USD. Upclick then gives you a hint, based on the daily exchange rate, on the equivalent amounts for the other supported currencies.
You can update (override) the amounts of the supported currencies manually. This is very useful since the pricing strategy may differ from one currency to another.
An exchange rate calculator is also available for you to make eventual conversions when you define the price.
